THE ENDURO MODEL LINE GROWS
THE LIGHTEST AND MOST COMPACT ENDURO ENGINE ON THE MARKET
Following as closely as possible to the Sherco philosophy of providing a well
thought out and manufactured product to meet real needs, as with the Enduro 4.5
i and the new 4T Trial bike, this new Enduro 2.5 i is equipped with a totally
new engine and chassis, specially designed for this new model, removing the need
to change existing designs.
The new engine is a single cylinder 4T 250 cc, with a double overhead camshaft,
four valves, liquid cooling and it has an electric starter. The gears work by
way of a dry sump, which helps gain additional ground clearance. Like the 4.5
i, an electronic fuel injection system takes care of the intake which is controlled
by a digital Magneti Marelli control system specially designed for this new engine.
The chassis of the new Enduro 2.5 i has been designed along the same lines, and
is totally different to models of higher cylinder displacement, it is designed
to the specifications -weight, measurements and features - of the new 250cc.
